Rudolfo Belen rode his bike around Metro Manila for two weeks in search for his missing daughter named Marivic. He was slowly losing hope when he decided to go to Mr. Raffy Tulfo to seek help.
According to Tulfo's FB Page, Rodolfo is a 61-year-old construction worker. He last saw his daughter last April 20 with her boyfriend named Renz "Jun Jun" Verano, aged 20. After that his daughter, Marivic didn't go home and cannot be contacted. Out of worry, Rodolfo got on his bike and searched for his daughter in the places that she usually go, but he couldn't find her.
Raffy Tulfo's FB Page posted the story which gained the attention of the authorities. Soon enough, the 15-year-old young lady found her way back to her father's arm.
“Ang gusto ko lang sana ay umuwi ka na at wala namang nagagalit sayo… Malapit na ang pasukan at kailangan makapag aral ka at makatapos ka ng kolehiyo.”
To celebrate Father's Day, Tulfo invited Rodolfo and his family to the studio. During the interview, Marivic apologized to her parents tearfully. Tulfo asked Marivic to explain what happened to her during her disappearance. The young lady confirmed that nothing bad had happened.
The family seems to be happy that they are now reunited. When Raffy Tulfo asked Rodolfo if he wants to have a bonding with his daughter, he only said "Ano ba yung bonding".
Tulfo surprised him and his family with an all-expense day off. Tulfo's staff took them in a mall in Quezon City where they shopped new clothes and watched a movie.
The family was taken to a hotel later that night for a luxurious buffet dinner. It looked like the eventful day brought the family closer to each other.
Rudolfo’s story touched many Facebook users who shared their admiration to the loving father online.
